We have an exciting vacancy working in our busy, motivated team producing some of the industries Halo projects from Formula One, Automotive performance hyper cars to innovative Defence projects.
Key responsibilities / duties:
· Day to day masking and spray painting of visual and structural composite components to the required production quality standards and defined processes.
· Ability to achieve high quality repeatable standards as determined and approved.
· Supporting the Team Leader and manager in their roles as required.
· Flexibility required in being deployed throughout the painting department.
· Responsible for maintaining the highest quality of components throughout their production processing.
· Identifying potential problems in processing of components and escalating to your team leader as necessary, to minimise delays/errors in production.
· Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the spray booths and their associated equipment, work areas together with good Health & Safety practices.
· Ability to interpret, technical specifications, manufacturer data sheets or any required control documentation.

· Ability to interpret, technical specifications, TDS sheets, Mixing Ratio’s, or any required control documentation.
Candidate Experience:
· Significant experience and understanding of the spray-painting process and application techniques.
· Proficient in the application of water and solvent basecoats including gloss, matte and semi opaque tinted finishes.
· Previous experience of painting complex parts to a high standard.
· Proficient in masking complex components to meet customer defined standards.
· Previous composite component processing would be useful.
· Previous Automotive or OEM experience would be beneficial.
Employment Package:
