Role Description

This is a full-time Field Sales Representative role based in the Greater Northampton Area, United Kingdom, with a hybrid work arrangement that allows some work from home. The Field Sales Representative will identify and qualify new business opportunities, visit customer sites, and present Excelerate’s pallet wrapping and end-of-line packaging solutions. Daily responsibilities include managing a sales pipeline, conducting product demonstrations, preparing proposals and quotations, and negotiating pricing and contract terms. The role involves building long-term relationships with key accounts, collaborating with technical and service teams to deliver tailored solutions, and providing regular feedback from the field to support product and service improvements. The individual will also maintain accurate sales records, prepare activity and performance reports, and represent the company at industry events or customer meetings as needed.

Qualifications

Demonstrated field sales experience, preferably in industrial equipment, packaging, manufacturing, or related sectors.
Strong skills in prospecting, lead generation, and account management, with the ability to manage a sales territory efficiently.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, including confidence in delivering product demonstrations and value-based proposals.
Comfort with hybrid working, including travel to customer sites across the Greater Northampton Area and effective remote work practices.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize opportunities and meet sales targets.
Ability to understand technical product features and translate them into clear customer benefits, especially around efficiency, waste reduction, and sustainability.
Proficiency in using CRM systems and standard office software to track activities, prepare reports, and maintain accurate customer records.
Collaborative mindset and ability to work closely with service, engineering, and operations teams to deliver tailored solutions.
Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel regularly within the region.
Previous experience in B2B sales and a track record of achieving or exceeding sales goals; formal sales training is an advantage.
Relevant education in business, engineering, or a related field is beneficial, but equivalent experience will be considered.

Pay: £25,420.00-£100,000.00 per year
