Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and professional Lead Football Coach to join our team and help deliver engaging, high-standard training sessions at our development centres. You will lead sessions, support player growth, and contribute to a positive coaching culture that reflects our values.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and lead dynamic football coaching sessions for players aged U7–U16.
- Create a positive, fun and challenging learning environment that focuses on technique, game understanding and player development.
- Promote high standards of behaviour, participation and enjoyment at all times.
- Provide constructive feedback to players and engage effectively with parents.
- Support the development of session plans, themes and coaching content alongside other coaches.
- Maintain a safe coaching environment and adhere to safeguarding policies.
Person Specification
Essential:
âś” Enthusiastic about football and working with young people.
âś” Good communication and organisational skills.
âś” Experience coaching children in group settings.
âś” Reliable, professional and positive attitude.
Desirable:
âś” FA coaching qualification (e.g., FA Level 1 or above).
âś” Experience in youth development or academy environments.
âś” Enhanced DBS/Police Check and safeguarding training.

Licence/Certification:
- Certificate in Coaching Football Level 1 (required)
- Certificate in Coaching Football Level 2/UEFA C (preferred)

- FA Safeguarding Children (preferred)
