Company Overview

Wolfie Raw Dog Food is a newly developed, family owned, premium raw feeding brand dedicated to providing dogs with natural, biologically appropriate nutrition. Made with high-quality meat sourced directly from the Estate, and nutrient-rich ingredients, Wolfie recipes are carefully balanced to support healthy digestion, strong muscles, a shiny coat, and overall wellbeing. Our raw meals are designed to give dogs the benefits of a diet that closely mirrors what nature intended.

Summary

We are seeking a Raw Dog Food Processing Technician to join our team at Wolfie Raw Dog Food. This role is vital in ensuring the safe and efficient production of our dog food products, aligning with our commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Operate machinery involved in mixing, mincing and packaging dog food products.
Measure, weigh, and inspect raw ingredients to ensure correct proportions and quality.
Monitor handling and processing times, temperatures, and other parameters to ensure consistent product quality.
Follow consistent recipes and batch records.
Conduct routine cleaning and sanitising of equipment and work areas to meet food safety standards.
Perform quality control checks and report any deviations to the manager.
Package products appropriately and label correctly with use by dates and batch codes ready for shipment.
Maintain accurate production and cleaning logs.
Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Work as part of a team to meet production goals.
Support the Head Butcher in processing and packaging our award-winning venison products, as well as assisting in the production of our home-reared pheasant.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior experience in food production, manufacturing, or pet food processing is desirable.
Comfortable working in a factory/industrial environment
Basic maths and reading skills
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety

Proven experience or training in food production or processing.

Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations.
Mechanical knowledge or experience with processing equipment.
Basic math skills for measurements and data recording.
Attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Good communication skills.
Prior experience in pet food manufacturing is a plus.
