Full job description

Community Education delivers free educational workshops to groups of young people and adults across the UK to help increase community resilience. We would like you to: - Be able to volunteer on a regular basis. - Be able to contribute a minimum of 8 hours per month and having flexibility with their availability would also be advantageous (workshops run on weekdays between 9am and 5pm, with occasional opportunities in the evenings or at weekends). - Have held a driving licence for at least 2 years which allows you to drive vehicles in the UK and have use of own vehicle. - Can commit to volunteer for at least 12 months. - Use of own IT equipment. - Willing to undertake all the required training for the role. - Willing to travel to workshop venues in your community independently. *Due to the nature of this role, applicants must undergo an Access NI check. Applicants will be asked to provide ID documents in support of the Access NI check.* *Unfortunately we aren't able to accept applications from 15 – 17 year olds for this role. Tasks: Facilitate face-to-face or online workshops to groups of young people or adults, on a range of humanitarian topics to help strengthen your community.

Help promote our work within your community so that more people may benefit from our education offer.

Skills: Passionate about exploring humanitarian issues and values.

Believe in the importance of equality, diversity, and inclusion.

Responsible, organised, reliable and able to work with minimum supervision.

Ideally, you will have a reasonable level of IT literacy, and have access to suitable IT equipment and internet connection. (There is no expectation to deliver both face-to-face and digital workshops. You may choose either or both.)
