We’re Hiring: Relief Security Officer
Location: Belfast, UK
Pay: £14.00 per hour
Hours: Average 36hrs p/week, Days, Nights and some weekends
SIA‑licensed candidates preferred; however, we welcome applicants willing to undertake the training to obtain their licence.

Job Description
Responsibilities
You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:
Protection of Property and Premises
-
Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site. Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms
and CCTV as appropriate. -
Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed in the Assignment
Instructions. -
Provide traffic control and apply parking restrictions as required.

Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate.

Manage keys and perform locking and unlocking duties as detailed in the
Assignment Instructions. -
Ensure any equipment provided by the customer and Securitas is managed in
accordance with procedures detailed in the Assignment Instructions. -
Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.

Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions.

Deal with lost property in accordance with the Assignment Instruction
Health and Safety

To provide support, guidance and information to all staff, visitors and contractors
whilst ensuring safeguarding of the premises. -
Ensure health and safety procedures are followed at all times. Record and report
all faults, health and safety hazards and unsafe working practices to

Qualifications
What we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone who sees a different world—someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

Valid SIA Licence, or willingness to complete the required training to obtain one.

Drivers Licence and Access to own vehicle.

Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.

The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.

Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken.
