Dermatology Biologics Coordinator, Band 3 (7.5 hours a week)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, well organised, committed individual to join the Dermatology Team as a Biologics Coordinator, providing an efficient and professional service to the Pharmacist and Inflammatory team. The ability to work on your own initiative but also be a good team player will be a key attribute.

This role provides a professional and efficient service to coordinate and enable timely biologic treatments for an expanding patient base across a range of dermatological conditions, including psoriasis, eczema, and urticaria.

Joining a large specialty team comprised of 10 consultants and 3 inflammatory specialist nurses, the successful candidate must be a highly motivated, hardworking individual capable of thriving both independently and collaboratively.

Educated to GCSE grade C or above (or equivalent) in literacy and numeracy NVQ level three in administration or equivalent experience Appropriate experience in a hospital or office environment
IT experience of Microsoft Office packages
IT capability to ensure proficient use of hospital computer systems
Proven organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload and to work to deadlines
Good written and verbal communication skills with a good command and understanding of English, punctuation and grammar
Good interpersonal skills for dealing with people internally and external to the organisation
Ability to work flexibly within a team
Ability to work quickly and accurately
Ability to use own judgement and initiative as appropriate
