Location: Willand, South Devon
Salary: Highly Competitive + Excellent Benefits Package

Shifts:

Continental Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off
Day Shifts: 06:00 – 18:00; Night Shifts: 18:00 – 06:00

About the Role:

As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining site operations by overseeing engineering and maintenance repairs, handling breakdowns, and executing planned and preventative maintenance schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct Engineering and Maintenance repairs on-site, largely for Production Machinery and some building repairs.
Fixing rollers, small gearboxes, and small motors, as well as hydraulics and pneumatics.
Supporting the team with machinery breakdowns as needed and contributing to some maintenance planning.
Ensuring smooth operations across the site as part of a wider maintenance team.

About You:

This position is ideal for a candidate with hands-on Mechanical experience, who is looking for a fantastic career opportunity within an industry-leading organisation, widely known for internal opportunities for both technical and career ladder progression. Experience is a fast-paced environment is desirable but not essential – if you have any Mechanical Maintenance experience, we’d love to hear from you!

Key Skills or Qualifications:

Time-Served Apprenticeship in Mechanical Maintenance or relevant discipline, or NVQ 3 as a minimum with related industry experience.
Desirable: Experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, or fast-moving production machinery.
