We are looking for a customer-driven Digital Process Designer to join our dynamic Digital Customer Experience Team.
We are part of the wider Digital and Transformation function at Norfolk County Council, which ranges from data services and infrastructure to apps development and security.
You will work with stakeholders to develop new online processes that allow customers to contact us, complete transactions/payments or report issues - and enable staff to action them as efficiently as possible and within legal and compliance frameworks.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, mapping and documenting digital processes that meet user needs
- Collaborating with developers to implement and test digital forms and workflows
- Using analytics and user feedback to continuously improve digital services
Supporting the delivery of our digital transformation programme

We are looking for someone who can use software to design and sometimes build accessible, customer-focused web processes that meet best practice, business and technical requirements.
You will also work with colleagues to integrate processes with our Customer Service Hub, online payments, and other third-party systems where appropriate.
We work with colleagues across the whole organisation, so you’ll be motivated, personable and comfortable working with IT colleagues and suppliers on delivering solutions, as well as subject matter experts in services and customers, to influence digital transformation and channel shift.
We'll support you in developing your skills in specific products while working alongside other members of the team. There are also training and development opportunities both in house and in the wider digital government community.
Interviews will use video technology, and you will have the opportunity to discuss these working arrangements.
To arrange an informal discussion or for further details on the role, please contact Vanessa Lindsey at [email protected] or alternatively Michelle Carter at [email protected]
