Job Overview

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Labourer to join our growing team, supporting experienced Fire Door Installers on a large-scale fire door replacement programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for one of the UK’s leading fire door manufacturers and installers, with ongoing training and development available for the right candidate.

The successful applicant will be proactive, physically fit, safety conscious, and eager to learn new skills within a fast-paced construction environment. Previous experience within construction or fire door works is beneficial, but not essential, as full support and training can be provided.

Key Responsibilities

Assisting Fire Door Installers with the removal and installation of fire doorsets
Loading, unloading, and moving materials and equipment safely around site
Preparing work areas in line with health and safety requirements
Supporting skilled operatives with day-to-day installation tasks
Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
Following all company health & safety procedures and site rules at all times
Working professionally within occupied residential properties and communal areas

Skills & Experience

Good level of physical fitness and ability to carry out manual handling duties
Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively within a team
Good communication skills and professional manner
Basic understanding of construction site health & safety
Previous labouring or construction experience desirable
Experience working around fire doors or passive fire protection works advantageous but not essential
