NIHCSS is a recovery‑focused mental health service supporting adults (18+) with severe and enduring mental health needs. We deliver person‑centred, strengths‑based support across Norwich & South Norfolk, including community outreach and our supported living service at Vanguard Court (NR2).

The Role: Mental Health Recovery Worker
As a Recovery Worker at NIHCSS, you’ll play a vital role in supporting people to move forward in their recovery. You will:
- Build meaningful relationships and support individuals to work towards their personal goals and aspirations
- Deliver 1:1 key work sessions and outcome‑focused interventions
- Co‑produce recovery plans, risk assessments and safety plans
- Use a flexible, creative approach across community and supported living settings
- Empower people to have choice, control and independence
- Work collaboratively with community services and act as a support navigator
What You’ll Need
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work (mileage paid)
- Willingness to work across our shift patterns
- A genuine dedication to supporting people on their recovery journey
Salary & Additional Pay
- £24,968.26 basic salary
- £1,066.65 Recruitment & Retention Allowance
- Total: £26,034.91 per annum
- £72.85 per sleep‑in shift (paid in addition)
