Join Our Team as an Operations Coordinator
Ellipsis Brands is going through a period of very rapid growth. From a newly established company (2013), the business is transforming into a mid-tier player in the global cosmetics industry, with a growing basket of brands which are quickly gaining widespread market recognition.
We are looking for a highly numerate and analytically minded Operations Coordinator to join our growing operations team. Reporting directly to the Supply Chain Manager, you will take ownership of a range of key operational tasks spanning order processing, purchasing, outbound planning and financial administration. This is a hands-on, detail-focused role that sits at the heart of our day-to-day operations and requires someone who is comfortable working with data, systems and cross-functional teams.
Your Role:
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, your day-to-day will span order processing, purchasing, logistics and systems. Your responsibilities will include:
Order Processing & Outbound Planning
- Processing sales orders end-to-end, including stock checks, planning coordination and labelling requirements.
- Processing Amazon replenishment dispatches and managing associated reporting.
- Supporting outbound operations planning in alignment with the production calendar.
- Liaising with the warehouse and planning team to coordinate third-party production schedules.
Purchasing & Inbound Logistics
- Conducting steady-state and NPD purchase reviews, monitoring stock levels and supplier performance.
- Arranging inbound freight and sea/airfreight shipments, including chasing and follow-ups with suppliers and forwarders.
Systems & Data
- Working across internal systems including ERP, project management tools, cloud storage and messaging platforms.
- Maintaining accurate records and contributing to data reporting across the operations function.
Your Toolbox:
- Numeracy: Strong comfort working with numbers, data sets and performing analysis.
- Attention to Detail: A methodical, process-driven approach to work with consistently high accuracy.
- Organisation: The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously without dropping the ball.
- Communication: Confident and clear when liaising with internal teams and external suppliers.
- Systems: Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets and comfortable learning new platforms quickly.
- Industry Experience: Experience working within FMCG, manufacturing or consumer goods is a bonus, as is familiarity with ERP systems, freight or purchasing processes. (Preferred, not essential)
- Qualifications: A degree in a numerate discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Science) or demonstrable equivalent experience in a similar operations, supply chain or logistics role. (Preferred, not essential)
