VACANCY – Graduate Airworthiness and Technical Support Officer

In this role, you will be trained and developed to support the Continuing Airworthiness Management Team in interpreting data and transposing these to ensure our aircraft are correctly maintained and remain airworthy. As a CAMO department team member, you will receive both theoretical and hands on training in Continuing Airworthiness and Maintenance Principles to give you a broad overview of the operation and skills required to make sure you are equipped to transition and progress within the organisation.

Candidate Specification:
Saxon Air is looking for a Graduate Airworthiness and Technical Support Officer to join its established CAMO department. The best candidate will have the following essential qualifications / attributes:
- Excellent analytical, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High level of team working and ability to respond to changing business needs.
- Confident and articulate communicator able to form good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ambitious person with desire to learn and make a positive contribution within the CAMO team.
- Strong IT skills with experience in using all Microsoft suites.
- There will be dealings with all levels of staff and external stakeholders, so excellent communication skills are essential.
Responsibilities and Duties (continuous training will be given)
- Input details from Sector Records Pages onto relevant computer tracking systems and identify and correct errors.
- Update CAMO Maintenance Tracking System for aircraft hours/landings and maintenance requirements. Review maintenance tracking system for due maintenance and communicate requirements effectively with the team.
- Liaise with Owners, Owner's Representatives, Operators, MRO's, OEM's and other external organisations.
- Maintain Aircraft Maintenance Records, Logbooks and supporting documentation.
- Ensure accurate completion of customer support programmes.
- Monitoring and reviewing of Airworthiness Directives and OEM Technical documentation.
- Generate processes to cover departmental tasks.
- Provide support to the CAMO management for additional projects as required.
Essential Requirements
- Engineering or aviation-based degree or equivalent experience in the industry.
- An active interest in aviation.
- Able to commute to Norwich, NR6 6JT & Full driving license
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Programs (Word & Excel)
Desirable
- Educational background in aircraft maintenance or airworthiness.
- Understanding of UK CAA regulatory framework for Airworthiness

Fundamentals
This is a full-time permanent role, based in Norwich, but some home working may be facilitated. Travel to our contracted and subcontracted suppliers will also be required and a passport (for worldwide travel would be advantageous).
You must have an existing and ongoing right to work in the UK under current Immigration rules to be considered for this role.
