Here at Quasar we are an established and fast paced activity centre located in the heart of Norwich city centre, and we’re currently looking for a confident, reliable, and experienced supervisor to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys a dynamic environment, thrives on responsibility, has great leadership qualities and takes pride in delivering excellent customer experiences. We also want an applicant who is confident and able to show customers a great time when they come for an event with us. Applicants should demonstrate proven supervising experience and a comprehensive understanding of hospitality practices.
About the Role
As a Supervisor, you will play a key role in the day to day running of the centre. You’ll be responsible for ensuring smooth operations, leading the team, and creating a fun, safe, and welcoming environment for all our guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Leading and supervising staff during shifts
- Delivering outstanding customer service
- Hosting parties and group events, catering to their needs
- Managing bookings, phone calls, and customer enquiries
- Handling payments and cashing up
- Delivering safety briefings and ensuring procedures are followed such as marshalling
- Opening and closing the venue
- Making and serving food and drinks
- Producing efficient cleans at the end of your shift, ready for open the next day
- Being a responsible key holder
- Confident enough to talk to groups of all ages
- Taking ownership of shifts and ensuring everything runs efficiently
What We’re Looking For
- Previous supervisory or team leader experience (essential)
- A mature, responsible, and proactive attitude
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- High level of flexibility with working days and hours (essential)
- Frequent weekend work required
- Reliability and commitment
- Confidence in managing a team and making decisions independently
- Start Date: ASAP
