Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Hearing Aid Audiologist to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with hearing impairments, ensuring they receive personalised and effective hearing solutions. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through expert audiological care and support. The position is paid and suitable for individuals committed to professional excellence in audiology.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive hearing assessments using specialised equipment to evaluate patients' auditory function.
Diagnose hearing impairments and recommend appropriate hearing aid solutions tailored to individual needs.
Fit, programme, and adjust hearing aids, ensuring optimal performance and comfort for each patient.
Provide detailed counselling to patients regarding their hearing health, device usage, and maintenance.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop holistic treatment plans for patients with complex needs.
Stay informed about the latest advancements in audiology technology and techniques through continuous professional development.

Skills

Strong knowledge of physiology related to auditory systems and hearing processes.
Proficiency in medical terminology relevant to audiology and healthcare settings.
Solid understanding of anatomy, particularly relating to the ear and related structures.
Excellent communication skills to effectively explain technical information to patients of all ages.
Organised approach to managing multiple patient appointments efficiently.
Compassionate attitude with a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
