Job Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Kitchen Helper and be a vital part of creating delicious, high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment! As a Kitchen Helper, you will assist chefs and cooks by preparing ingredients, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are upheld. Duties

Assist with food preparation by washing, peeling, chopping, and organizing ingredients efficiently
Support cooking activities under the supervision of chefs or cooks, ensuring meal preparation runs smoothly
Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
Follow food safety protocols diligently to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene standards are met
Restock supplies and ingredients as needed to keep the kitchen well-equipped for service
Help with serving food to guests or staff when required, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
Support the overall organization of the kitchen, including storage of ingredients and cleaning schedules

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment or culinary setting is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
Familiarity with basic food preparation techniques such as chopping, peeling, and assembling ingredients
Knowledge of food safety standards and proper sanitation procedures
Experience working in a restaurant or food service setting is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting kitchen staff and serving guests
