We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced clinician to step into education as a full time Divisional Clinical Educator. This role supports the delivery of our refreshed Statutory and Mandatory Education portfolio across the Trust and plays a key part in developing our divisionally focused education model.
Divisional Clinical Educators are essential to EMAS, working to enhance clinical standards and promote continuous professional development across operational teams. You will be based at one of our education centres within our five divisions, with additional travel to other divisional sites as required.
You will be supported by the Senior Clinical Educator team and collaborate with the EMAS Education department, operational colleagues, and administrative staff. Flexibility, adaptability, and a strong commitment to both your own and others’ development are essential.
This role includes planning, delivering, and evaluating clinical education, while maintaining your own clinical competence and registration. An operational response component is required, aligning educational delivery with frontline practice.
To take responsibility as part of the Organisational Learning and Education schedule for the local and regional delivery of statutory and mandatory education and other learning within the wider EMAS portfolio.
To work in collaboration with leadership and managerial colleagues to provide assessment and clinical supervision opportunities that will contribute to the improvement in the quality of patient care and clinical outcomes.
To supply specialist educational support and guidance to Operational Managers and their team members in order to improve the dissemination of learning within the region and facilitate the continuing professional development of staff

Although based at one of our Education Centres, the successful applicant maybe required to travel across the EMAS network to support Operational Divisions.
