The Opportunity
As Practice Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in leading an already successful practice to even greater heights.
Working closely with clinicians and support teams, you'll drive operational excellence, inspire your team, enhance the patient journey, and identify opportunities for sustainable growth.
You'll have the autonomy to make decisions locally while benefiting from the support and expertise of a wider organisation that is committed to investing in its people.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Leadership & Team Development
- Inspire, motivate, and support a high-performing team
- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and professional development
- Build engagement and encourage continuous improvement
Practice Operations
- Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the practice
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and governance requirements
- Drive operational efficiency and service excellence
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators
Commercial Performance
- Support delivery of financial and operational targets
- Analyse performance data and identify opportunities for growth
- Work collaboratively with clinicians to maximise practice performance
- Contribute to strategic planning and business development initiatives
Patient Experience & Growth
- Champion exceptional patient care and service
- Work alongside our marketing team to strengthen local visibility
- Support campaigns, patient communications, and community engagement
- Identify opportunities to improve the patient journey and grow the practice
About You
We're looking for an experienced manager who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare or clinical environment and enjoys developing people, improving performance, and driving positive change.
You'll bring:
- Proven leadership experience managing larger teams
- Strong commercial awareness with experience managing KPIs and business performance
- A track record of delivering operational improvements
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, organised, and solutions-focused approach
- Experience supporting business growth and marketing initiatives
- Dental experience is advantageous but not essential
