Job description:

Pharmacy Medicine Counter Assistant required for a busy family run Community Pharmacy.

Applicants will have good communication skills, be able to work well under pressure and have good organisational and customer service skills.

Previous experience working in a healthcare setting is desirable as well as holding a pharmacy medicines counter assistant qualification, however full training will be given to the successful candidate.

The role will involve establishing and developing long-term relationships with patients, liaising with other healthcare professionals and ensuring excellent customer service is delivered to all.

Main responsibilities include ensuring the smooth running of the medicines counter, shop floor, promoting NHS services and providing healthcare advice.

Hours are Thursday 9:00 - 17:30 Friday 09.00 - 17.30, 15 hours a week. Opportunities for overtime are available to cover annual leave.
