Job Vacancy: Regional Sales Engineer – Covering South East England

What will you do?

Develop and implement a regional sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets.
Generate new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing customer accounts.
Build long-term relationships with installers, heating contractors, developers, and consultants.
Promote the company's heat pump solutions through customer visits, presentations and technical demonstrations.
Provide customers with technical guidance on heat pump applications and HVAC systems.
Identify and convert project opportunities from specification through to installation
Monitor competitor activity, market trends and legislative changes affecting the heating and renewable energy market.
Work closely with internal technical, specification and customer service teams to deliver an excellent customer experience.
Maintain accurate sales pipelines, forecasts and customer activity using the company's CRM system.
Represent the business at trade shows, exhibitions and industry events.

What will you bring?

Minimum of 2-3 years external (field-based) B2B sales experience.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing new business within a technical sales environment.
Direct experience selling heat pumps or closely related renewable heating technologies.
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, heating systems and heat pump applications.
Existing relationships with heating installers, contractors, and other key decision-makers within the sector.
Experience managing a geographical sales territory.
Knowledge of UK building regulations, renewable energy legislation and available funding or incentive schemes relevant to heat pumps.
Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience within the domestic or commercial heat pump market.
Knowledge of low-carbon heating technologies including underfloor heating, cylinders, controls or renewable energy systems.
Experience working with specification consultants or M&E contractors.
Technical qualification in engineering desirable, HVAC or building services.
Full UK Driving Licence.
