About Us

MacLennan Distribution, originally founded as MacLennan Motors on the Isle of Tiree in 1978, has grown into a well-established freight and logistics provider throughout the West of Scotland. Operating from our depot in Oban, we deliver goods daily across Argyll, the Islands.

About the Role

We are seeking a hardworking and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team in Oban. This is a varied and active role involving the delivery of parcels throughout Isle of Mull & Iona, along with supporting general warehouse duties such as order picking and loading vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out multi-drop deliveries
Ensuring timely and professional customer service on delivery routes
Picking and preparing orders in the warehouse
Assisting with loading/unloading of delivery vehicles
Maintaining cleanliness and basic vehicle checks

Requirements

Full, valid UK driving licence
Physically fit and able to handle heavy goods
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, punctual, and customer-focused
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential

Working Hours

Monday to Friday
Occasional evening and weekend shifts may be required
Full-time position (part-time may be considered)

Benefits

Competitive hourly rate
28 days paid annual leave (including Bank Holidays)

Ability to commute/relocate:

Oban PA34 4HB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

Driving: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

Driving Licence (preferred)

Work Location: In person
