Full job description

Salary Negotiable

Must be UK based

An excellent leader and all-round performer (with a minimum of 5 years butchery experience) is required 5 days per week Tuesday to Saturday with some overtime possible. We are a busy, friendly shop serving the local community and businesses with both traditional and modern cuts and products.
A high standard of cutting and preparation skills across all species is required but predominately beef, pork, lamb and venison. Breaking down whole carcass, boning and preparing joints and the successful applicant will be given free reign to put new ideas and products into the shop display to show their passion for the profession.

Applicants must be well organised, have drive & enthusiasm and have good man-management skills to be able to lead a small professional team of three employees adhering to HACCP, Food Hygiene & Health & Safety Regulations and ensuring documents are maintained.

Applicants must be of smart appearance, polite and and have good command of English.

28 days annual leave (incl 8 public holidays), meat allowance and uniform provided
