Reporting into the Managing Director, you will manage the production department through planning production, managing resources and fulfil the following duties in the Company’s interest;
· Ensure specific jobs from customer orders are assigned to assembly staff (dependent on requirement)
· Ensuring work orders are ready to ship on schedule
· Managing production efficiently and ensuring quality processes are followed
· Responsible for ensuring Company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including Dead on Arrival returns (DOAs) and delivery targets being met
· Ensuring production are complying with ISO9001 and ISO14001 procedures and processes to enable Company meet ISO targets and remain compliant
· Confirming order specifications including correction of any sales orders and feeding back to Sales Dept (as required)
· Transferring Technician Notes from Works Orders and ensuring stock amends have been actioned and Quality Check (QC) changes are approved.
· Reviewing Pre-Shipping notifications and final QC checks, resolving errors on incorrect test scores and complete paperwork for shipments and/or reporting issues to relevant people
· Running weekly production and project meetings including production run throughs of planned work for the week
· Conducting workshop check ins in each department, including proactive updates of works order progress, production discussions and resource management to meet demands
· Conduct regular production walk-through, checking in with workshop employees to inspect department areas, and update Purchasing Dept with stock requirements
· Review and add component QC points to new and existing components
· Suggest/amend changes to product configurations changes where production orders require it
· Maintenance of file server production data including images and test documents,
· Manage technical or design issues affecting the production process and ensure resolution is found with the relevant departments
· Managing production staff with; workload management, answering assembly related queries (including trouble-shooting issues with orders) and resolving stock queries including training them and supporting their development.
· Undertake assembly and production duties (where required)
· Assist the Support function (where required) by performing diagnostics and where possible resolving faults including updating FileMaker RMA records and resolving stock anomalies in the system
· Process management of production processes including process improvement
· Day-to-day people management of the production team including formal and informal performance management using PDRs and mid-year reviews.
· Undertaking the induction of new workshop employees
· Assist recruitment process for new production employees including reviewing CVs, sifting candidates, attending interviews, etc (as required)
· Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and protocols, promoting a safe work environment and implementing appropriate training programs and safety measures
REQUIREMENTS
Essential;
· Minimum Grade C in GCSE (or equivalent) English and Maths
· IT literacy
· Interest in Computers
· Mechanical dexterity
· Fluent in spoken and written English
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Detail orientated and works with a high degree of accuracy
· Must be self-directed, with a “can do” attitude and be able to complete projects with limited supervision
· Highly organised
· Problem solving and logical
· Excellent knowledge of G2 Digital Products and Services
· Ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines

· Right to work in the UK
Preferable;
· Past experience in production or assembly environment, particularly electronic assembly
· Experienced assembler with no support required
· Experienced software installer and able to diagnose technical issues in production
Experienced RMA engineer with diagnostics of product issues in final assembly
Pay: £27,000.00-£37,000.00 per year
