Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Hairdresser to join our vibrant team. Based at our salon, established over 15 years ago, in a busy location in Rochdale town centre. This is a part-time commission based position covering Mondays and some Saturdays to start with.

Your expertise will encompass a wide range of hair treatments, hairdressing services and barbering. Optional beauty services such as eyelash extensions and makeup application may also be considered.

Responsibilities

Provide expert hairdressing services including cutting, styling, colouring, and treatments to meet diverse client needs
Perform barbering services
Look after existing client base and walk-ins
Optional: offer beauty treatments, for example, eyelash extensions and professional makeup application etc
Front desk operations, by welcoming clients, managing appointments, and ensuring excellent customer service

Requirements

Proven experience as a senior hairdresser with strong skills in cutting, colouring, styling, and barbering techniques
Excellent communication skills to engage clients effectively and build lasting relationships
Strong customer service orientation with a positive professional attitude
You will need your own public liability insurance as this is a self employed position
