Wolf Builders & Joiners are looking to recruit an experienced Multi-Skilled operative with a heavy focus towards joinery. This job role will cover a wide skill set, we are in the process or aquiring some maintenance contracts so a maintenance background is essential.
A working forman or someone with great leadership qualities will be favoured.
Experience is extremly important for this role as a large part of it will be problem solving, being flexible on the job, so please refrain from applying if you dont meet that criteria. .

The ideal candidate should be fit and healthy, able to work independently but also as part of a team, no two days will be the same. You could be fitting fire doors in a hospital one day, then getting call outs for reactive maintenance work the next. Candidate should be well mannered, well tempered and be able to represent the company in a way that leaves a good impression, we work within hospitals, cares homes or peoples houses so its extremely important we leave a good impression. This is extremely important to the decison making of this vacancy.
The Role The successful candidate should have experience in the following:
Competent in all 1st and 2nd fix joinery
Be able to read and work from plans/ drawings.
Kitchen installation including routing of worktops
Flooring
General Maintenance of commercial and resedential buildings
Patch plastering
Basic decorating
Installation of fire doors fd30/fd60 (experience needed, vital)
Timber partition walls & basic drylining systems Plasterboarding
General refurbishment and renovation works
Working independently and as part of a team
Essential Requirements :
Full, clean UK driving licence
Valid CSCS card (we can assist you in aquiring one if not)
Punctual, reliable and trustworthy
Positive, can-do attitude (highly valued within wolf builders ethos)
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail High standard of workmanship
Good communication skills and a professional manner
Strong commitment to Health & Safety

Additional Information
Working hours are Monday to Friday, with overtime and occasional weekend work available. Occasional travel across Greater Manchester and surrounding areas may be required. Applicants should have their own basic hand & power tools. Specialist equipment will be provided. Successful applicants may be required to undergo a DBS check due to the nature of some of our healthcare contracts.
Maintenance contracts we are working on will be based in rossendale BB4 4AU. Candidates too far from this location will not be considered
