We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our People Team to manage the end-to-end recruitment for key Retail Areas and Departments in our Head Office and Studio in Greater Manchester.
Being a part of the FA Talent Attraction Team has a range of differing responsibilities including identifying current and future hiring needs, advertising job openings online and sourcing and hiring the best talent for our business. You will also be heavily involved in key Talent Acquisition Projects that support our EVP including managing and maintaining our careers site, designing and delivering training and building brand awareness.
You will be the first contact with any potential candidate career with Footasylum, so you will have a thorough knowledge of the brand, our values, our business and why this is the best place to work. Giving an amazing candidate experience from start to finish is what we do!

Responsibilities
- Managing the end-to-end recruitment cycle for Retail Management and key Head Office Departments at Footasylum.
Collaborate with hiring managers to write effective adverts for current openings.
Build strong relationships with hiring managers, regularly scheduling meetings and remaining close to help through the recruitment process.
Use all of the tools and platforms Footasylum have to source the best candidates possible, in different geographic areas.
Advertising current opportunities on careers pages, job boards and social networks.
Research and attend events that will help build employer brand in difficult to recruit areas, whilst ensuring value for money for exhibition attendance.
Follow processes and structures that help to guarantee the best possible service to hiring managers and candidates alike.
Source candidates through online channels, LinkedIn accounts, job boards, local education establishments, job centres, meetups and shopping centre events.
Screen CVs and applications, updating each candidate on next steps including rejections.
Involvement in some or all of the interview process and will be confident during various hiring stages, including phone, first-round and second-round interviews.
Report to hiring managers and HR manager on the status of open positions.
Use database to effectively build talent pools and pipelines of suitable candidates.
Working with Head of Talent Acquisition and the Marketing department to maintain consistent message from the brand, in alignment with the overarching marketing strategy.
Evaluate candidates based on their interview and assignment performance, determining qualification criteria for each position with hiring managers.
Analyse turnover and retention rates to forecast hiring needs. Build an understanding of risk areas and ‘tough to source’ recruitment areas.
Update job descriptions with the authorisation from hiring managers and HR.
Happily, welcome candidate queries regarding the application process, offering support and understanding for each and every applicant.
Provide interview feedback, when necessary and appropriate.
Research and attend job fairs to boost company’s reputation in local areas.
Build relationships with Education Establishments, Apprentice Organisations, Training Providers and talent attraction organisations to help ensure the best early talent pathways for candidates into Footasylum.
Offer as much support in the on-boarding process as possible. Be the candidate outlet and build relationships that position you as a ‘Trusted Advisor’.
Competitor analysis and understanding of what innovative new attraction methods they have implemented.
Research and suggest new technologies that are available in the market, that can allow us to improve our recruitment process.
Research and suggest new ways of working to your senior management team and offer resolutions to issues felt by hiring managers.
Support all of the TA Team Projects where required
Skills/Experience
Proven work experience as an Internal Recruiter, Agency Recruitment Consultant or similar role.
Solid understanding of full-cycle recruiting.
Experience using various interview formats (e.g. telephone, group, assessment days)
Ability to organise and attend assessment days.
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and CV databases.
Excellent grasp of Social Media usage and how to utilise tools to maximise employer brand.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong Powerpoint and Excel skills
An interest in managing content on websites and ATS functionality.
