Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window Fabricator to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, installing, and finishing window units with precision and care. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong mechanical aptitude to develop their skills within a dynamic environment. The position is paid and suitable for those eager to contribute to high-quality window production.

Responsibilities

Assemble window components using hand tools and power tools, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
Measure, cut, and fit materials according to specifications, maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols.
Operate machinery and equipment involved in the fabrication process, including setting up and troubleshooting as needed.
Conduct quality checks throughout the assembly process to identify defects or inconsistencies.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are stored correctly after use.
Assist with loading finished products onto delivery vehicles or storage areas, following safety procedures.
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship.

Experience

Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with assembly processes is advantageous.
Experience using hand tools such as screwdrivers, hammers, and measuring devices is desirable.
Proficiency with power tools used in fabrication tasks will be considered an asset.
Candidates with warehouse experience or background in similar roles are encouraged to apply.
