Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Nightshift Production Supervisor four nights per week to oversee manufacturing operations during the overnight shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role offers an excellent opportunity to lead a dynamic team within a fast-paced environment, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and process optimisation.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff during the night shift, ensuring adherence to operational plans and safety protocols.
Ensure quality control standards are maintained throughout the production cycle, conducting regular inspections and audits.
Operate machinery with full training given
Collaborate with supply chain teams to manage inventory levels and ensure timely procurement of materials.
Promote a culture of safety, conducting risk assessments and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Train and develop team members in process procedures, quality standards, and safety practices.Requirements
Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or production environment.
Familiarity with quality control standards and techniques.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities during night shifts.
Strong leadership qualities with effective communication skills to motivate and guide teams.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high attention to detail.
