Job title: Facilities Manager

Established in 1844, we operate from over 30 offices nationwide, delivering expert advice and professional services to property owners, occupiers, educational institutions, businesses, public sector bodies, and financial organisations.

At BTG Eddisons, we pride ourselves on creating exceptional experiences for our clients and tenants. We’re now seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the smooth and efficient management of multiple buildings, ensuring operational excellence, financial control, and a strong focus on sustainability.

Key responsibilities

Operational Management: Oversee hard and soft services, maintain site documentation, and coordinate with surveyors and property managers
Financial Management: Draft and reconcile service charge budgets, manage costs in line with agreed budgets, and provide monthly financial reports
Contract Management: Proactively manage supplier contracts, attend review meetings, and mobilise new agreements
Health & Safety: Ensure compliance with legislation, maintain Riskwise scores above 90%, and manage contractor safety standards
Sustainability: Drive green initiatives, reduce utility consumption, and ensure compliance with sustainability policies
CAFM Helpdesk: Maintain accurate records, monitor contractor KPIs, and conduct monthly audits

Qualifications and experience

Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, tenants, and stakeholders
Positive, team-oriented attitude with a proactive, “can-do” approach
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, Excel)
NEBOSH or IOSH qualification desirable
BIFM or IWFM qualification desirable
