At Hygge Pergola, we help customers create beautiful outdoor spaces with premium pergolas and outdoor living products. As we continue to grow our existing brands and launch new ones, we're looking for an experienced performance marketer to take complete ownership of our paid social growth.
This isn't a traditional media buying role.
You'll own Meta and TikTok from end to end - from strategy and campaign creation through to creative production, tracking, optimisation and scaling.
You'll be responsible for turning advertising spend into profitable growth and will have the freedom to decide how best to achieve that.
If you've successfully scaled DTC ecommerce brands, understand the numbers behind profitable growth and enjoy being hands-on with both campaigns and creative, we'd love to hear from you.
What you'll be responsible for
- Taking complete ownership of Meta and TikTok advertising across our brands.
- Creating, launching, optimising and scaling paid social campaigns.
- Managing significant advertising budgets, with previous experience spending more than £200,000 per month and the opportunity to return to those levels as the right systems and resources are in place.
- Developing the strategy required to grow spend while maintaining profitability.
- Owning creative strategy and producing the advertising assets needed to make campaigns perform.
- Analysing MER, blended ROAS, CAC, new customer CAC and contribution margin.
- Owning tracking and attribution and ensuring the data we use to make decisions is accurate.
- Identifying why performance has changed and taking action when campaigns stop working.
- Working with our web team on CRO, landing pages, offers, pricing, promotions and other opportunities to improve performance.
- Building the paid social strategy for new products and new brands from launch through to profitable scale.

We're looking for someone who has
- Strong hands-on experience running Meta Ads for DTC ecommerce brands.
- Experience managing at least £100,000+ per month in paid social spend.
- A proven track record of scaling campaigns from smaller budgets into significant monthly spend.
- Experience managing multi-million-pound annual advertising budgets would be a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of MER, ROAS, CAC, contribution margin and ecommerce profitability.
- Strong knowledge of tracking, attribution, Meta Pixel, CAPI and ecommerce analytics.
- Experience creating paid social creatives, including static and video advertising.
- Experience with TikTok Ads.
- Strong commercial judgement and the confidence to make decisions independently.
We care more about what you've actually achieved than qualifications or job titles.
It would be a bonus if you have
- Experience working with premium or high-end DTC ecommerce brands.
- Experience marketing high-ticket physical products where customers have a longer consideration period before purchasing.
- Experience within home, furniture, garden, outdoor living or similar categories.
- An understanding of how to market products where brand, trust, creative and customer journey are just as important as price.
What success looks like
Within this role, you'll build a paid social function that can profitably scale across multiple brands.
Success means:
- Meta and TikTok generate profitable, sustainable growth.
- Advertising spend can increase without profitability deteriorating.
- CAC, MER and contribution margin remain within target.
- Creative is continuously improving based on performance data.
- Tracking and attribution are accurate and trusted.
- When performance drops, problems are identified and corrected quickly.
- New products and brands can be launched and scaled successfully through paid social.
This is initially a highly hands-on role, but as the business grows there will be an opportunity to build a team around you and progress into leading the wider performance marketing department.
Pay: £50,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
