Overview

We are seeking a skilled Panel Wireman/woman to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, wiring, and testing electrical panels and control systems in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong electrical background and mechanical knowledge to contribute to high-quality projects. Responsibilities

Assemble electrical panels and control systems according to technical specifications and drawings
Wire components using hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment
Install programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and surface mount technology (SMT) components
Conduct testing and troubleshooting of assembled panels to ensure functionality and safety standards are met
Interpret electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals accurately
Maintain a clean, organised workspace adhering to health and safety regulations
Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve assembly or wiring issues promptly

Experience

Proven experience in electrical assembly or wiring within an industrial or manufacturing environment
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialised wiring equipment
Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and surface mount technology (SMT) assembly processes
Strong understanding of electrical systems, mechanical principles, and safety standards
Experience working with electrical schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation is highly desirable
Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for understanding component integration and system layout
