Triton Risk Management has an exciting opportunity for Protective Services Officers to join the team on a prestigious long‑term contract on Teesside.
This role forms part of an enhanced protection function operating within a safety‑critical infrastructure environment, supporting the protection of people, assets, and operational continuity across a complex and dynamic project footprint.
Role Responsibilities
- Conducting structured shift handovers at the start and end of each duty period to ensure continuity of service, situational awareness, and effective incident management
- Maintaining accurate and comprehensive written records, including handover notes, incident reports, and operational logs, and taking appropriate action in response to information received during a shift
- Providing a visible, professional, and authoritative security presence across operational areas, access points, and associated infrastructure
- Supporting the protection of client assets, plant, and facilities in accordance with site‑specific requirements, safety rules, and agreed procedures
- Monitoring activity across designated areas, identifying abnormal or unsafe conditions, and escalating concerns in line with established protocols
- Engaging with contractors, staff, and authorised visitors to ensure compliance with access, safety, and behavioural standards
- Assisting with access control, vehicle movements, and the safe interface between operational activities and the wider environment
- Applying proportionate conflict management and de‑escalation techniques where situations have the potential to escalate
- Working collaboratively with site management and partner teams to support a safe, secure, and well‑controlled operating environment
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working in a protection role within a regulated or safety‑critical environment
- A current CSCS Green Labourer Card
- Current FREC3/4 Certification
- A valid SIA Licence (preferably Door Supervision)
- A valid SIA Licence CCTV
- A professional, confident manner with strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- The ability to remain calm, alert, and decisive in a dynamic operational setting
Essential Requirements
To be considered for employment with Triton Risk Management in this role, candidates must be able to meet the following minimum requirements:
- A high level of physical fitness, with the ability to successfully complete a safety‑critical medical and physical assessment
- An unrestricted right to work full‑time in the UK for a minimum period of 12 months
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- A full UK driving licence
- Access to a reliable vehicle, with the ability to operate across a geographically dispersed site footprint
Pay: £40,560.00 per year
