Job Title:International Education Partnerships Manager
Role Purpose
The International Education Partnerships Manager is responsible for managing the Company’s existing international education partnerships, coordinating the successful delivery of contracted education programmes, maintaining long-term institutional relationships and supporting the sustainable growth of the Company’s international education activities.
The role has been established in response to the continued expansion of the Company’s contracted education projects and increasing management requirements arising from existing partnership agreements with schools, education groups, institutional clients and overseas partners. The post-holder will ensure the successful implementation of existing contractual commitments while also supporting business development, sales growth and the expansion of international education partnerships.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
1. International Education Partnership Management
- Develop, manage and strengthen long-term relationships with schools, universities, education groups, education agencies and institutional partners across the UK, China and Southeast Asia.
- Act as the principal relationship manager for assigned education partners and institutional clients.
- Maintain regular communication with partner organisations to support long-term collaboration and sustainable partnership development.
- Represent the Company in partnership meetings, education events, conferences and institutional visits where appropriate.
- Support the development of strategic international education partnerships aligned with the Company’s long-term objectives.
2. Delivery of Existing Partnership Agreements
- Take responsibility for the implementation and ongoing management of existing education partnership agreements entered into by the Company.
- Coordinate the successful delivery of contracted education programmes, including study tours, summer schools, academic enrichment programmes, teacher training programmes, Oxbridge preparation and university application support.
- Ensure contractual obligations are delivered in accordance with agreed service specifications, programme schedules and partnership agreements.
- Work closely with partner schools, education groups and overseas institutions throughout programme planning, preparation and delivery.
- Monitor programme implementation, identify operational issues and coordinate appropriate solutions.
- Support contract renewals, repeat programmes and the expansion of long-term partnership agreements.
3. Education Programme Coordination
- Coordinate programme delivery between academic teams, tutors, operational staff, suppliers and institutional partners.
- Work closely with Academic Managers to ensure education services are delivered to agreed quality standards.
- Coordinate programme schedules, teaching resources and operational arrangements.
- Monitor programme quality, partner satisfaction and student experience.
- Recommend improvements to programme delivery and operational efficiency.
4. Business Development, Sales and Market Expansion
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the international education sector across the UK, China and Southeast Asia.
- Develop and expand institutional sales channels through schools, universities, education groups, education agencies and strategic partners.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective institutional clients, education partners and referral networks.
- Prepare partnership proposals, education service packages, commercial agreements and pricing proposals.
- Support negotiations with prospective partners and contribute to the successful conversion of partnership opportunities.
- Identify opportunities to increase student recruitment, programme participation, repeat business and long-term institutional cooperation.
- Conduct market research, analyse competitor activity and monitor developments within the international education sector.
- Work with the Director to implement business development strategies that support sustainable organisational growth.
5. Institutional Relationship Management
- Maintain strong working relationships with existing institutional partners, education agencies, schools, universities and overseas clients.
- Conduct partnership reviews and identify opportunities to improve collaboration and service delivery.
- Prepare partnership reports and recommendations for senior management.
- Maintain accurate partnership records, agreements and communication history.
- Ensure effective relationship management throughout the partnership lifecycle.
6. Student and Family Engagement
- Support prospective international students and families by providing guidance on the Company’s education services.
- Coordinate enquiries from students, parents and education partners.
- Maintain high standards of client service and stakeholder communication.
- Work with internal teams to ensure students receive timely and accurate information.
- Analyse feedback to improve client experience and service delivery.
7. Marketing and Partnership Communications
- Support the promotion of the Company’s education programmes through institutional partnerships, education events and digital communication channels.
- Coordinate marketing activities relating to UK school placements, university applications, academic enrichment programmes, study tours and summer schools.
- Manage communications with schools, education partners, institutional clients and international families.
- Coordinate webinars, education exhibitions, seminars and promotional events.
- Monitor marketing performance and recommend improvements to partnership engagement and market expansion.
- Ensure all marketing materials accurately represent the Company’s education services and partnership commitments.
8. Internal Coordination and Compliance
- Liaise with academic, operational and administrative teams to ensure the successful delivery of contracted education programmes.
- Coordinate internal resources to fulfil partnership commitments efficiently and professionally.
- Ensure programme delivery complies with safeguarding, quality assurance and regulatory requirements.
- Escalate operational or compliance matters where appropriate.
- Promote effective communication and collaboration across all departments involved in programme delivery.
9. Strategic Planning and Reporting
- Prepare regular reports for the Director on partnership performance, programme delivery, business development activities and market opportunities.
- Analyse partnership performance, student recruitment trends and market developments.
- Support the Company’s international partnership strategy and long-term business planning.
- Recommend improvements to partnership management, programme delivery and business development processes.
- Contribute to the sustainable growth of the Company’s international education activities.
Skilled Worker visa sponsorship may be available for suitable candidates, subject to meeting UK Home Office requirements.
Requirements:
Essential
- Master’s degree or above in education, business, international relations, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in the education industry, preferably within international education or education consultancy.
- Solid understanding of China and Southeast Asia education markets, including schools, agents, and institutional partners.
- High-level proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proven management experience in one or more of the following areas: marketing, programme design, or student recruitment.
- Willingness and ability to undertake frequent international business travel, particularly to China and Southeast Asia.
- Demonstrated ability to independently develop new markets, including identifying opportunities, establishing partnerships, and driving growth from an early stage.
- Strong track record in business development, market expansion, and revenue generation.
- Experience in promoting and delivering international education services, such as study tours, academic programmes, summer schools, Oxbridge application support, or UK boarding school placement.
- Strong leadership, organisational, and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage teams and multiple priorities.
Desirable
- Experience working directly with international schools, education agents, or overseas institutional partners.
- In-depth knowledge of the UK education system, including Oxbridge admissions and UK boarding school pathways.
- Experience in programme delivery, on-site project coordination, or overseas education programmes.
- Familiarity with safeguarding, compliance, and quality assurance standards in international education.
- Experience working in multicultural, cross-border, or matrix team environments.

Pay: £55,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
