We are looking for a talented Bench Joiner who enjoys and takes pride in their work.
You will be an integral part of our small and friendly team of bench joiners, taking ownership of bespoke projects from start to finish.
You’ll be working independently to produce high-end joinery, utilizing both traditional hand skills and modern workshop machinery, including crafting laminated pieces.
As every piece we make is different the work is both interesting and rewarding for both commercial and domestic customers.
We are considering both full time staff and subcontract candidates.
Job requirements
- MUST be able to drive.
- 5 years bench experience
- Has own hand tools
- Experience of workshop machinery
- Experience of making laminated pieces
- Keen eye for detail
- Takes pride in their work
- Must be able to work unsupervised
The "nice-to-haves"
- Experience of curved work desirable
- Some fitting experience desirable
- Ability to do own cutting lists desirable
