Flexible Childcare Workers Needed – Chester

Locations include: Chester, CH3 and CH4
Pay: £13.80–£16.80 per hour

About the Role

We're growing our team of reliable, flexible Childcare Workers to cover nurseries, preschools, and primary schools across Chester.

Youchoosework connects vetted, caring individuals with local childcare providers who need flexible cover during short-term staff absences. Whether you're a parent, a student balancing work with study, a retired childcare professional, or someone returning to work, this role lets you work entirely on your own terms.

What You'll Be Doing

Covering shifts in registered childcare settings and schools across Chester
Working with children aged 0–11 in nursery, preschool, and primary school settings
Helping settings maintain safe staff-to-child ratios so they can keep delivering quality care

What We're Looking For

Genuine enthusiasm for working with children – experience and qualifications are welcome but not always essential
Good written and spoken English
Reliability, professionalism, and a can-do attitude
An Enhanced DBS check (don't have one yet? We'll guide you through getting it)
Based in or near Chester, with the ability to travel to local settings
