Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs.
- Handle customer queries via phone and in-person, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Maintain an organised and visually appealing sales counter through effective merchandising techniques.
- Upsell products by understanding customer preferences and suggesting complementary items.
- Process transactions accurately using basic math skills for cash handling.
- Manage inventory levels and assist in restocking shelves as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge to provide informed recommendations.
- Dealing with building material and agricultural product enquiries.
Requirements
- Proficiency in English is essential.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with customers.
- Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks during busy periods.
- Organisational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and manage multiple customer requests efficiently.
