The Role:
As a tutor, you’ll play a key role in every child’s learning journey by:
Delivering lessons that last: Using our smart learning tool, Compass, you’ll deliver tailored sessions where you facilitate learning through questioning, scaffolding and stretching.
Building meaningful relationships: With a 1:6 ratio, you’ll get to know each child and create a safe, inspiring environment where they can take risks and develop a lifelong love of learning.
Driving academic progress: Support members as they work through the national curriculum, entrance exams, and GCSE preparation, celebrating milestones and successes along the way.

Logistics:
Location: This is an on-site role and you will be based at our Chester centre.
Contract: You will be contracted to work at least 6 hours a week over 2 different days. Our shift start times are between 3:30pm and 4pm on weekdays.
Role requirements: You must be age 16 or over and have the right to work in the UK.
Earn more as you progress! You will start on the base rate for your age group, with an annual opportunity to increase your pay based on the number of hours you have tutored for us.
Base Hourly Rate:
Under 18: £8 .40
- an additional 50p per hour will be added if working at a centre inside the M25. You will be paid for all training and inductions.
