Derwen College is a vibrant and award-winning specialist college in Shropshire, where young people with special educational needs and disabilities learn skills for life and work. Our stunning gardens and grounds are a source of pride and joy for the whole community- and we're looking for a Head Gardener to lead their care and development.

What You'll Be Doing

Nurturing and developing our gardens, lawns, borders, and glasshouses
Leading a small, dedicated team of gardeners.
Bringing creativity to planting schemes and landscaping projects.
Making sure every area is safe, welcoming and cared for.

Person Specification

Relevant qualification would be desirable
Experience using basic hand tools and light machinery
Experience of working in a similar role
Full clean driving license and able to tow
