The role
As a Warehouse Operative, you'll join our dedicated team supporting Barrack Stores operations at RAF Halton. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a busy warehouse and logistics environment where your contribution will directly support our customer and ensure the smooth delivery of essential services.
You'll be responsible for maintaining stock control, supporting furniture movements across the station, and ensuring documentation and inventory records are accurately maintained. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on position, takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, and can work effectively as part of a team.
Day-to-day, you will be:
Deliver furniture and equipment across the RAF Halton site.
Install furniture within Service Family Accommodation and station facilities.
Support office moves and the collection and relocation of furniture.
Pick, pack and issue stock and technical items to station departments.
Maintain accurate stock records and warehouse documentation.
This is a full-time, permanent role based at RAF Halton, working 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 – 16:00 Friday.
Essential experience of the Warehouse Operative:
Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
Strong customer service skills.
Administration experience within a warehouse, logistics or stores environment.
Experience using inventory management or stock control systems.
Qualifications for the Warehouse Operative:
Full UK Driving Licence.
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
