Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled chef/cook to join our culinary team at Hazlemere Golf Club to further enhance our great reputation and continue to build our business.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation and a good understanding of kitchen operations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that our meals are prepared to the highest standard of quality contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established receipies and standards
- Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area including work stations and equipment
- Adhere to food safety regulations and best practices in food handling and storage
- Follow HGC Leisure health and safety procedures at all times to maintain a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in a kitchen or cafe environment is preferred with a focus on meal preparation and culinary skills
- Previous experience of Event Catering especially Buffets as one of our main business sectors is Funerals
- Previous experience of Banquet style catering especially Christmas Dinners, Lunches ( we are not open Christmas Day or Boxing Day but have a very busy December with Festive functions)
- Familiarity of Food & Safety Standards and practices is essential
- HGC Leisure Ltd holds a 5 Star Food & Hygiene rating last renewed July 2025.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast pace environment
- Strong communication skills
- A genuine passion for cooking and creating high quality dishes that delight guests
Pay: Up to £29,120.00 per year
