Gees is North Oxford’s neighbourhood restaurant. Set within a unique, Grade II listed Victorian Conservatory, Gees has been welcoming guests for over four decades, and in Summer 2026 underwent a bold transformation. Gees is part of 'The Oxford Collection'; a small, privately owned group of two luxury 5* hotels and apartments, three restaurants that consists of the Old Bank Hotel, the Old Parsonage Hotel, 36 St Giles, Parsonage Grill, Gees Restaurant Bar, and Quod Restaurant Bar. Responsibilities of the Busser:
- To prepare the restaurant for service, following the jobs list and as directed by the duty manager.
- Ensure that the restaurant is fully stocked with clean, polished cutlery at all times.
- Ensure ready supplies of napkins are stored in the restaurant before and during service.
- Ensure that the tables are cleared and re-laid to a high standard, as quickly as possible.
- Ensure that a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained by following cleaning routines and through ongoing diligence during the shift.
We are looking for a flexible part-time Busser. You will be offered an OTE up to £13.52 per hour, including non-contractual service charge (tronc).
