About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Finance Executive to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who has gained some finance, accounts, bookkeeping, or finance administration experience and is looking to further develop their career within a supportive and growing organisation.
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accurate processing of financial information and providing professional support to customers, suppliers, and colleagues. While previous finance experience is preferred, we are primarily looking for someone with excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and a positive, proactive approach.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage and maintain sales and purchase ledger activity.
· Raise and process invoices, credit notes, and receipts accurately and efficiently.
· Process daily receipts and maintain accurate payment records.
· Set up and maintain customer accounts and payment plans.
· Set up and manage customer direct debits, ensuring accurate records and timely collections.
· Reconcile bank transactions and Sage Pay transactions.
· Handle finance-related queries from customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
· Assist with gathering and compiling invoices for reporting purposes.
· Support month-end finance activities and general reporting requirements.
· Maintain accurate information within accounting and CRM systems.
· Support continuous improvement of finance processes and procedures.
· Provide additional administrative support to the finance function as required.
About You
We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable, and comfortable working with numbers. You will have a methodical approach, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy working environment.
Essential Requirements
· A good understanding of basic financial processes and a willingness to learn financial administration tasks.
· Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
· Excellent organisational and time management skills.
· Confident communicator with a professional and helpful approach.
· Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and accounting software.
Desirable Requirements
· Previous experience working within a finance or accounts team would be an advantage.
· Experience using Xero or a similar accounting system.
· Experience using Salesforce or another CRM platform.
· Currently studying towards, or interested in pursuing, an AAT qualification.
· Experience working in a customer-focused environment.

Working Pattern
The successful candidate will initially be required to work five days per week in the office during their training period.
Following successful completion of training, a hybrid working arrangement will be available. Employees are required to work from the office two days per week. Tuesday is a mandatory office day as our main team collaboration day, and employees may choose their second office day. The remainder of the week can be worked remotely.
The role operates on a rota basis between 8:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. Employees work one of three shift patterns:
· 8:00am to 4:00pm
· 9:00am to 5:00pm
· 10:00am to 6:00pm
Shift patterns are agreed in advance and may vary according to business requirements.
Additional Information
· Reliable commute to Oxford, OX2 7LG is required.
· Legal right to work in the United Kingdom is required.
· Monday to Friday, day shift.
