Salary: £ 38,000.00 to 42000.00 per annum fulltime basis (dependent on experience)
Hours: Part-time, 20-25 hours per week
We are seeking a compassionate, motivated, Care Manager – who is a registered nurse (part time) to support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred nursing and care services for individuals living in their own homes.
Working alongside the Registered Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring our service users receive safe, effective, and compassionate care that promotes independence, dignity, and choice. This is an excellent opportunity for a registered nurse who is passionate about community-based care and leadership. You will supervise a team of care staff and supportive operations team.
What you will do;
- Support the Registered Nurse Manager in the day-to-day management of the homecare service.
- Support care staff with Induction, training(shared), regular supervisions and appraisal of care staff.
- Conduct nursing assessments, care planning, and regular reviews to ensure care remains responsive to individual needs.
- Provide professional nursing care including medication management, wound care, catheter care, and other clinical tasks when needed.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of clinical practice, governance, and quality assurance.
- Undertake spot checks, competency assessments, and clinical audits.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, professional standards, and organisational policies.
- Conduct complaint and safeguarding investigations and incident management where required.
- Work closely and build positive relationships with service users, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
- Supervise operations staff of rota planning and provide support in sourcing new care staff.
- No accounts or payroll related responsibility.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Experience working within community nursing, homecare, or domiciliary care services.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience.
- Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- A thorough understanding of safeguarding, infection prevention, medication management, and clinical governance.
- A commitment to delivering person-centred care within people's own homes.
- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential).
Desirable
- Qualification in leadership or management.
- Experience preparing for regulatory inspections.
- Knowledge of domiciliary care regulations and quality standards.
- Experience supporting individuals with complex health needs, long-term conditions, or palliative care.
