Job Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Commercial team as a Commercial Insurance Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career, or looking to develop further, to gain hands-on experience in the insurance industry and build a long-term career with a supportive business.
You will play a key role in supporting the administration of a wide range of commercial insurance policies, working closely with experienced colleagues, insurers and clients. Duties
- Achieve all individual KPI targets set by the company, whilst managing customer and team expectations.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with underwriters and colleagues.
- Deliver customer service in line with ‘best practice’ and ensure compliance to relevant policies.
- To provide an efficient and effective service to customers, understanding their needs and requirements and working to exceed these wherever possible.
- Accurately process policy documentation and send to clients in an effective and timely manner.
- Effectively deal with incoming post and email enquiries
- Proactively contact clients to obtain required documentation, information and outstanding payments.
- Handle incoming client calls, resolving queries or directing them to the appropriate account handler where required.
- Process mid-term adjustments (MTAs), ensuring policy changes are actioned accurately, documentation is updated and records maintained in line with internal procedures.
- Process client refunds, ensuring accuracy, appropriate approvals where required, and timely updates to internal systems and records.
- Deal with account queries and bad debt issues both in-team and with underwriters.
- Maintain accurate records and computer files.
- Demonstrate a positive, enthusiastic, committed and flexible attitude towards other team members, recognising the importance and benefits of effective team working.
- Attend team and staff meetings as and when required.
- Carry out any other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by your manager/team leader.

Pay: £25,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
