Duties
- Dispensing prescriptions accurately in accordance with legal and organisational guidelines
- Providing expert advice on medication usage, potential side effects, and interactions
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimise patient treatment plans
- Monitoring patient responses to medication and adjusting therapy as necessary
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
- Maintaining meticulous records of prescriptions dispensed and patient interactions
- Participating in clinical audits and quality assurance activities
- Supporting pharmacy team members with training and mentorship as required
- Provide full vaccination services
- Pharmacy First service are essential
- Weight loss provision and other services will be provided via a PGD
Qualifications
- Fully registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
- Proven experience working within community pharmacy is a requirement
- Demonstrated ability to deliver excellent patient care and medication management
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Flexibility to adapt to varying shifts and work environments
