Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Screen Installer for a fixed-term contract with nationwide travel. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing digital display systems across various locations. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in telecommunications, networking, and hardware, with the ability to work independently in diverse environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge digital signage projects while travelling extensively across the country.
Key Responsibilities
- Install wall or ceiling mounting brackets using a power drill and basic hand tools
- Safely lift and mount digital screens onto fitted brackets
- Route and tidy cabling (power, HDMI, network) neatly and safely
- Power on and test each screen to confirm it displays content correctly before leaving site
- Follow site safety procedures, wear PPE, and use ladders/access equipment where required
- Communicate professionally with site staff and clients during installs
- Take install photos and complete a short checklist for each job
- Load, unload, and keep company tools and equipment organised
Experience
- At least [6–12 months] of relevant hands-on experience — trade, handyman, maintenance, AV/installation, or similar
- Confident and competent using a power drill and basic hand tools unsupervised
- Able to follow fitting instructions/manuals with minimal guidance
- Comfortable working at height (ladders/access equipment)
- Physically able to lift and carry screens (up to [X]kg)
- Reliable, punctual, and presentable when on client sites
- Full UK driving licence
- No formal electrical/AV qualifications required — full product training given
