Full job description

We are currently seeking a Sales Consultant (hybrid) to join our busy Regional Sales Centre in Newton Abbott , where you will be a single point of contact to meet customer requirements, whilst negotiating profitable sales and supporting the Major Build Solutions hub and branch network.

Working Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

Site: Hybrid - this can be discussed further

Working as part of an established team and backed by the world’s leading building materials distributor at STARK, you’ll be driving our sales with a close working team who like to work hard but also have fun! We truly invest in our employees and support them in their career development.

Reporting directly to the Regional Sales Centre Manager, the key duties for a Sales Consultant are:

Handle inbound and outbound calls from our customers looking to make and place orders.
Provide customers with product quotes and advise them with any queries they may have in relation to our products and services.
Process customer orders to their nearest branches or via our HUB network, maintaining excellent customer service throughout.
You will be looking for opportunities to provide upsell where possible which will involve calling Housebuilders and Contractors in the South-West to develop your business accounts.
There are KPI’s, but customer service and building solid customer relationships are our largest motivators.

It would be an advantage to have some product knowledge or come from a related industry however full training will be provided.
