On-Street Operative – Voi Bikes Edinburgh/Glasgow Shuttle [Night]
Pay: £13.45 per hour
40 Hrs Week. 5 days on 2 off
Shift Patterns Available: Thursday - Monday 6PM - 2:30AM

We are looking for a full-time operative for our Edinburgh operation, to work on the Voi scheme.
What you’ll get up to as an On-Street Operative
You will be part of a team responsible for the distribution, light maintenance & battery swapping of the Voi bikes scheme.
You will strive to get bikes and their users on the move, measured against agreed KPI’s, ensuring we meet and exceed client expectations. To achieve this, you will primarily focus on shuttling bikes between Edinburgh and Voi’s repair and service warehouse in Glasgow.
You will be a conscientious, hard-working, and dedicated individual who appreciates quality and attention to detail, taking responsibility for your own workload but also work as part of a highly efficient team.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
· Deliver bikes for repair and service to Voi’s warehouse in Glasgow.
· Transport bikes for deployment to Edinburgh.
· Carry out bicycle distribution in Edinburgh/Glasgow, working from our Glasgow hub
· Ensure your vehicle, equipment and tools are maintained to a high standard.
· Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and protocols.
· Reports directly to the Hub Manager.
· Present a professional image of Velogik at all times.
· Ensure all Velogik clients and business activities receive an excellent level of customer service.
· Assist with all other Velogik operations and activities as reasonably required to fulfil the needs of the business. This may include workshop and on street activities, distribution tasks, offsite maintenance and attending events.
KEY SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
· UK Driving Licence with van experience essential.
· Experience and adherence to Health & Safety procedures and protocols.
· Knowledge and/or experience of environmental and social impacts of a business.
· Good local knowledge of Edinburgh, Glasgow and surrounding areas.
· A great personality and attitude to work!
