Churchill College has a vacancy in its Technical Services Team and are seeking an AV IT Technician, who can provide comprehensive and professional support to all clients and staff, ranging from assisting clients within meeting rooms to ensuring that AV/IT systems are maintained and up to industry standards, recommending specific upgrades to enhance the customer journey.
Working in the Moller Centre building, you will be key in the customer journey by setting up and testing equipment prior to arrival of meeting, understanding the client/staff needs and ensuring that they get the best experience, through to diagnosing/fixing issues that may have arisen.
You will work closely with the Technical Services Manager in supporting with upgrades and any AV related queries. You will support the sales team on show rounds and assist with demonstrating equipment to clients also working closely with the events team on the planning and preparation of events.
Ideally you will have experience in a similar role within an AV environment with a good working knowledge of conference AV systems, which includes problem solving and a strong understanding of IT. You will also need to demonstrate strong people skills and the ability to work in a professional manner.
Full time hours are available, working on a rota 10 days over 14, with some weekend working required.
