This is a full-time, permanent Telecoms Engineer role, focused on the build, installation, and maintenance of telecoms infrastructure across London and surrounding areas.

- London-based with regular travel to client sites across London and surrounding areas
- You’ll be working across multiple sites, spending most of your time outdoors
- Salary up to £40,000

This is a hands-on infrastructure role where you’ll be out in the field building and maintaining telecoms networks.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Installing, maintaining and repairing telecoms infrastructure, including overhead and underground cabling
- Carrying out pole climbing and working at height to install fibre and copper-based networks
- Supporting fibre rollout projects including FTTP installations and network builds
- Performing fault finding and diagnostics across telecoms networks
- Completing cabling, jointing and termination work to a high standard
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations, particularly when working at height
- Using handheld devices to update job status and complete documentation
- Liaising with clients, site contacts and internal teams where required
- Managing your own workload across multiple sites
You’ll be someone who’s comfortable working physically, enjoys being out in the field, and can manage your own day without supervision.
Ideally, you:
- Have experience as a Telecoms Engineer, Fibre Engineer or Field Engineer
- Have worked on external telecoms infrastructure (ideally overhead / pole work)
- Are comfortable working at height and outdoors year-round
- Have knowledge of fibre networks, FTTP installations or broadband infrastructure
- Have strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Can work independently and manage your time effectively
- Hold a full UK driving licence
Nice to have (not essential):
- Accreditations such as SA001, SA002 or similar
- Experience working with Openreach or similar networks
- Skills in splicing, jointing or network testing
- Exposure to both build and maintenance environments
